Institutional Support & Expansion: Since the 2012–2013 school year, the society has continuously collaborated with the Burundi English School (BES) board of directors and local donors to provide bursaries for students facing economic barriers.
Provincial Backing (2016): The organization was bolstered by a $25,000 Community Initiatives Program grant from the Government of Alberta to help build an elementary school facility.
Anniversary (2018): TAAS celebrated its 10th anniversary with a commemorative fundraising gala and dinner in Edmonton to support its ongoing international efforts.
Ongoing Community Outreach: The society maintains deep roots in Alberta by working directly with local school boards—such as the Edmonton Catholic Schools—to coordinate school supply drives, student fundraising campaigns, and global pen-pal programs
