Building the School

The fundraising efforts of TAAS and special interest groups since 2008 have built enough classrooms at BES to hold 300 children ages 3-18 in pre Kindergarten to Grade 13. Our future plan is to have two classrooms of each grade .

Construction of new classrooms happens over the summer break.
After the seminary was no longer a viable option, the school repurposed a hotel.
The first home for Burundi English School was in a vacant seminary in Bujumbura.
