Bursary Sponsorship
The cost to educate one child at Burundi English School for one year is $1000 USD. This money pays for tuition, books and supplies, a uniform, and a daily lunch. We ask that donors make a multi-year commitment to a child and fund them for their entire school career of 12-13 years. (Please note that some donors have continued support into university!) TAAS requires that the full amount of $1000 USD is remitted before the start of each school year.
There are several types of Bursary Supporters. Some people choose to provide funding on their own. There are others who choose to donate as a group and share the yearly cost. TAAS also has school groups and private businesses who support children with yearly bursaries.
