Are you interested in a BUCKET LIST EXPERIENCE in an EAST AFRICAN COUNTRY – one you are sure to enjoy and never forget?

The Tanbur African Aid Society (TAAS) has a wonderful opportunity for you! Established in 2008 to provide professional and financial resources to empower people in Tanzania and Burundi, TAAS helped set up Burundi English School (BES) in Bujumbura, Burundi. The teachers at BES have benefited from the ongoing mentorship from 34 Canadian teachers and the school, with students in Kindergarten to Grade 13, student population (K to Gr 13)has grown to 375 students.

We are now calling you! 

If you have teaching experience and excellent English language skills, consider saying, “Yes! Why Not?” Pack your bags and go! 

A lovely group of teachers, students and parents await you. You will stay in a house where food is provided and your basic needs are met, at no cost to you. All you have to do is transport yourself there. And… you will receive a tax receipt for all expenses. (Non-teaching spouses are welcome as well.) Let this be a truly great and memorable cultural experience for you as you help children living in the poorest country in the world by giving them a hand up, not a hand out!
